Privacy policy

What personal data jurl cloud keeps, why, who helps us process it, and how you control it.

This policy covers jurl cloud (cloud.jurl.dev) and this website. Leer en español.

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Raimundo García León, in Spain. Write to info@jurl.dev for anything about your data.

What we keep and why

Data Why Legal basis
Your email, name and picture, and the organizations you belong to To sign you in and run your account Contract
What you put in: questions, sheets, the pages read for them, files, alerts To give you the service Contract
Usage: page reads, costs, the sign-in and API activity of your organization To bill plans, show you your usage, and keep an audit record for your organization Contract and legitimate interest
Technical logs of the service (errors, sign-in attempts) To keep the service secure and stop abuse Legitimate interest
Billing: plan, subscription and payment status To charge and invoice paid plans Contract and legal obligation

We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use what you put in jurl cloud to train models. We send you emails about your account and your sheets (sign-in codes, alerts, summaries you turn on), not marketing.

Who helps us process it

We use providers that process data on our behalf, under contract, only to run jurl cloud:

When data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or on the Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Pages that contain personal data

jurl cloud reads public web pages. If you ask it to read pages that contain personal data, you decide what is collected and why, and you are responsible for having a lawful reason for it. We process that data on your behalf and only to give you the service. Write to us if you need a data processing agreement.

Apps you connect

You can connect AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT, or your own software, to jurl cloud with an API key or a sign-in. They then receive the sheets, rows and changes they ask for, within what your role allows, and can make sheets when you ask them to. You choose to send that data to them, and each one handles it under its own terms. Every connection shows in your organization’s API keys, and you can revoke it there at any time. See jurl in Claude and ChatGPT.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, erase or export your data, to restrict its use, or object to it. Much of this you can do yourself from the console: anyone can export their own data and delete their account, and owners can export their organization’s data. For the rest, write to info@jurl.dev; we answer within a month.

If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD.

Cookies

jurl cloud only stores what it needs to keep you signed in. Neither jurl cloud nor this website uses cookies to track you. Both count visits anonymously with Cloudflare Web Analytics (the page, the site a visit came from, the browser and the country), with nothing that identifies you; pages opened from a private link, such as shared sheets and invitations, are not counted. This website also keeps its own anonymous count of visits and installs (the site a visit came from and its country) and remembers in your browser the theme you chose and where your visit came from. When you try jurl on the CLI page, the page you give is read through the same providers as jurl cloud, and your IP address is kept for one day, only to limit the number of tries.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we tell you by email before it applies.
